Mainstay Wood is available to purchase as an add-on. Bijou uses standard construction grade pressure treated 2×4s available at your local hardware store. Bijou doesn't require ANY special cuts and uses standard length wood at 10ft, so you can grab it right off the shelf.

Bijou Pocket
Our kids love the Bijou Big set! They couldnt wait for me to finish assembling each piece and have spent many hours enjoying each part. Having the wood delivered, hardware in place, and the ability to transport to other locations is a huge game changer. We looked at so many different play-scapes and this was the best option for the ages of our kids and for my wife and I.
The only adjustment I would suggest is improving the instruction manual, at times the instructions are difficult to fully understand. While building the first mainstay, I did not fully secure the fabrics around the lumber and had to go back and secure each strap individually. Upon building the second mainstay I was able to see the problem, adjust my tactics and fix the issue. Clear and concise instruction, and potentially a digital version or video, would help facilitate more effective construction.
Apart from that the experience was great, the versatility is fantastic, and we are so excited to share our Bijou for years to come. Great product and I recommend it often.
Our 3 kids love their new play place!! They can climb and be crazy or relax inside. We love that we can move it around the yard to mow underneath.
This is absolutely adorable. And my little boy loves it. But it is so hard to put together. The directions aren't exactly clear. And some o the piece isnt fully match the instruction manual. We did finally get it together. And it super cute. I just dont know that we will ever take it apart . HAHA. But that would be the only thing I would say, the directions definitely need to be more clear and precise. I do absolutely love it.
My daughter is 5 and was getting bored having nothing to do in our yard. Its on the small side so finding a swing and activity set to fit was proving difficult until I found Bijou. She absolutely loves to switch back and forth between being able to climb, hang, hide away or swing and spends hours outside, even when I can barely stand to sit out for a couple minutes! So happy with our purchase and will highly recommend to anyone questioning a purchase!
